The art of searching for knowledge

We live in a world that is inherently technological. It is hard to avoid the onslaught of data that pervades our everyday lives. However knowledge is not all digital. In fact it is often hard to find information on the web. Using Google, although a good search engine, does not guarantee that information on a subject will be found. Or possibly that the information is within a digitized book with only “snippet” access. Wikipedia is not the “be-all-and-end-all” of information. Sometimes the search for knowledge requires you to go to old-school methods, like looking in a library for real books. Yes they exist, and libraries are more than just places to sit and drink coffee.

who knew?
